What our female teachers hold

Credentials matter more here than anywhere, because a family choosing a female teacher is usually choosing carefully about everything else too.

Hafiza teachers

Has memorised the entire Quran. Teaches Hifz, revision and recitation, and understands the memorisation journey from the inside because she has completed it herself.

Alima teachers

Has completed a full course of Islamic scholarship — usually six to eight years covering Quran, Arabic, Tajweed, Fiqh and Aqeedah. A great many of our female teachers are Alimas, which is a deeper qualification than most providers name.

Trained by us before their first lesson

Only 1 in 10 applicants get through. Every teacher is tested and trained by us on Tajweed, Makharij and teaching ability. Knowing the Quran and teaching a distracted eight-year-old are different skills, and we assess for both.

English and Urdu

Many of our female teachers teach in Urdu as well as English — useful when that is the language spoken at home, or when a grandmother is helping with practice.

Who we teach

Female teachers are available across every course we run, at every level, for students of any age.

Girls

From age 4, starting with the Arabic alphabet and Noorani Qaida. Many parents prefer a female teacher for a daughter, particularly as she gets older. No explanation needed — just say so when you book.

Sisters and adult women

Whether you have never read Arabic, or learned as a child and forgotten most of it. One-to-one means no group, no audience, and nobody to keep up with — which is the reason most adult sisters give for not starting sooner.

Mothers

Daytime slots while children are at school are the most requested and least available thing in Quran teaching. We have them.

Hifz for women

Structured memorisation with a Hafiza teacher, proper revision, and a pace that fits around family life rather than fighting it.

How lessons work

The practical answer to the question every parent asks before booking.

We have our own teaching centre. Most online providers are a booking system with freelancers attached, teaching alone from their own front rooms. Our teachers come to a workplace in Pakistan, sit together, and teach with a member of our team present in the room.

You can sit in on any lesson, any time. No permission, no notice, no arrangement.

Lessons are not recorded. No video or audio of your daughter — or of you — is stored anywhere.

Every lesson is one-to-one. Never a group. The whole 30 minutes belongs to that student. Read more about how we teach.

How you will know it is working

Learning the Quran is slow, and it is genuinely hard to tell from the outside whether a student is progressing or simply turning up.

So we write to you about it. Your first written progress report arrives after one month, and after that you receive one every quarter.

Each report covers classes attended against classes scheduled, punctuality, engagement, lesson understanding, homework completion, exactly how much Quran has been covered, memorisation progress by surah for Hifz students, where the student is doing well and where they need work, what to focus on next, and a personal note from the teacher who actually teaches them.

The one-month timing is deliberate. That is roughly when you will be asking yourself whether this is working — so that is when we tell you, in writing, with specifics.

What parents & students say

Trusted by Families Across the UK

“My kids went to the local Madrassa for one year and they just learned the Arabic letters. Alhamdulillah now, they've been with Online Quran Tuition for one year, and they are able to read the Quran and they are moving forward. I appreciate your efforts. I would also like to thank Miss Sadiqi for all her hard work. Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.”

“Assalaamu alaikum — it was getting difficult for me to take my children to the Mosque every day because of my job. My children have been learning with Online Quran Tuition for 12 months now and I am very satisfied with their progress. They are getting Islamic knowledge faster than other children of a similar age. Jazak Allah.”

Ayesha SiddikaStudent · UK

“I have had a few Tajweed lessons with Online Quran Tuition and Alhamdulillah I have learnt a lot in these few sessions. With their help I hope it won't be too long before I can read the Qur'an with proper Tajweed InshaaAllah. Thank you for your patience. Jazak Allah.”
