There is no fixed timeframe for mastering Tajweed. Progress depends on reading fluency, the pronunciation patterns that need correction, lesson frequency and accurate practice between sessions. A useful plan identifies a small number of priority errors, checks them in later recitation and adds new rules only when the learner can apply earlier corrections consistently.

A learner does not need to speak Arabic, but someone who cannot yet recognise and join Arabic letters will normally need a Qaida or beginner-reading foundation alongside early pronunciation work. A teacher can assess whether the immediate priority is decoding the script, correcting articulation or applying Tajweed rules during connected recitation.

The classes are live and one-to-one so the teacher can hear the learner's recitation, identify a specific error and check the correction in real time. Recordings can provide useful models for practice, but they cannot reliably diagnose what the learner produced or whether a correction was retained.

Learners can request times around school, work and family commitments. The final schedule is confirmed after a suitable teacher is available, so an evening or weekend slot is not guaranteed. Ask the academy to confirm the current rescheduling, pausing and cancellation terms before enrolling.

Tell the academy at registration if certification is a goal. It should confirm whether an appropriate pathway is currently offered, which named teacher or awarding body is responsible, the assessment standard and what evidence the learner receives. Do not assume that completing ordinary lessons automatically provides an Ijazah or another recognised qualification.

Online lessons can support a child when the teacher can hear the recitation clearly, model one correction at a time and adapt the activity to the child's reading level and attention. Progress still depends on readiness, regular accurate practice and appropriate parent support; an initial assessment should decide whether Qaida, reading fluency or Tajweed is the first priority.
