The technical meaning of Hifz is "to guard" or "to preserve." In Quranic terms, it refers to the complete memorization of the entire Holy Quran by heart. A Hafiz (male) or Hafidha (female) has memorised all 114 surahs and 6,236 verses. Our Hifz programme covers both partial memorization of selected surahs and complete Hifz of the whole Quran.
