“My son started the Hifz programme at age 9 with zero memorisation experience. Within 18 months he completed Juz Amma and is now halfway through the Quran. His teacher's dedication is extraordinary — the consistent revision system means he has never lost a single surah. The flexible timings around school made it possible for us. May Allah complete it for him.”
"Indeed We have sent down the Quran and We will preserve it." — Surah Al-Hijr 15:9

What is Hifz — and why is it one of Islam's greatest honours?
The technical meaning of Hifz is "to guard" or "to preserve." In Quranic terms, Hifz refers to the memorisation of the entire Holy Quran by heart — a tradition that has preserved Allah's words with perfect accuracy for over 1,400 years. A Hafiz or Hafidha holds one of the most honoured titles in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said the Hafiz will be crowned with a crown of honour on the Day of Judgement, and their parents will be clothed in garments whose light surpasses the sun.
The honour of Hifz
The person who memorises the Quran earns a unique status in this world and the next. A Hafiz intercedes for ten members of their family on the Day of Judgement. There is no greater spiritual achievement a Muslim can pursue in their lifetime.
Memorisation and revision
True Hifz is not just about memorising new verses — it also requires consistent revision of earlier material. The programme balances new memorisation with recent and older revision so recall can be checked and weak material revisited.
Hifz with proper Tajweed
Pronunciation and Tajweed should be checked while a passage is being memorised so recurring errors are not reinforced. The teacher listens to the learner, identifies priority corrections and checks them again during revision.
Three Hifz pathways — designed for every goal
Whether a learner is beginning with short Surahs or working toward a longer memorisation goal, the pathway should match their reading accuracy, retention and available revision time. Lessons are organised one-to-one so new and older material can be checked directly.

Selected Surahs
For younger students and beginners beginning their Hifz journey with the short surahs of Juz Amma.
Partial Hifz
For students memorising selected surahs or specific parts of the Quran for prayer and daily life.
Full Quran Memorization
For students committed to memorising the entire Holy Quran — 114 surahs, 6,236 verses.
The structured method that keeps Hifz for life
The biggest challenge in Hifz is not only memorising new verses but retaining earlier material. The programme uses a three-part structure that balances new memorisation with recent and older revision, allowing weak recall to be identified and revisited.
New Memorisation (Sabaq)
Each session begins with the student reciting new verses from memory to the teacher. The teacher listens carefully, corrects pronunciation and Tajweed in real time, and confirms mastery before advancing to the next verse. No new memorisation until the current portion is perfect.
Recent Revision (Sabaq Para)
The recently memorised portion is revised in every session to strengthen memorisation before it fades from memory. This is the most critical stage — the window in which newly memorised verses are most vulnerable. Consistent revision here makes Hifz permanent.
Old Revision (Manzil)
Older memorised portions are cycled back for revision throughout the programme. The teacher adjusts the revision schedule when recall becomes less secure instead of advancing solely by page count.
Why our online Hifz program delivers real results

Our Hifz programme supports children and adults at different memorisation stages, from learning short surahs to working towards longer-term goals. Here is what makes our approach different.
Teacher matching for Hifz
Our academy includes teachers with verified roles and qualifications such as Hafiz and Alim or Hafidha and Alima. The applicable background depends on the individual teacher. Ask which verified qualification applies to the teacher proposed for the learner's Hifz goal.
One-on-one personalised guidance
The one-to-one format allows the teacher to check the learner's current passage, recent revision and older material directly, then adjust the next target to the learner's recall and pace.
Tajweed accuracy throughout
Teachers listen for pronunciation and Tajweed issues while checking memorisation. Corrections are practised in the current passage and revisited during later revision so recurring errors can be addressed.
Flexible timings for every lifestyle
Learners can request times around school, work and family commitments. The academy confirms lesson frequency and the final timetable only after a suitable teacher is available.
Progress tracking every session
Parents receive regular progress tracking updates showing exactly how many verses have been memorised, which surahs are under revision, and how the student is advancing through the programme. Full transparency.
Learn from anywhere with internet access
All you need is internet access. Our online Hifz classes are as effective as in-person — using live video, audio tools and interactive whiteboards. Students from across the UK and around the world learn with us every day.

Students who memorised the Quran with our online Hifz program
“I am 32 and decided to start memorising the Quran as an adult. I was told it was too late. My teacher here said differently — and proved it. The structured method of new memorisation, recent revision and old revision has kept every surah I have memorised completely solid. The progress tracking after every session keeps me motivated like nothing else.”
“My daughter completed her selected surahs Hifz programme in just over a year. The Tajweed accuracy throughout has been remarkable — she recites every verse beautifully. The teacher's patience and personalised guidance made all the difference. We are now enrolling her in the full Hifz programme. Alhamdulillah, we cannot thank the team enough.”
Questions about our online Hifz programme
There is no reliable completion time that applies to every Hifz learner. The pace depends on reading accuracy, the amount memorised, revision strength, lesson frequency, practice time and interruptions. A responsible plan balances new memorisation with recent and older revision, then adjusts the next target when recall or pronunciation is not secure.
Yes — we strongly recommend that students can read Arabic and recite Quran with basic Tajweed rules before starting the Hifz programme. This ensures they memorise every verse with correct pronunciation from the beginning. If your child cannot yet read Arabic, we recommend starting with our Quran for beginners course first. Our teachers will advise you on readiness during the free trial assessment.
Adults can work on selected Surahs, portions of the Quran or a longer Hifz goal. The plan should reflect the learner's current recitation, available practice time and ability to retain earlier material. Age alone does not determine success, and the academy should not promise complete memorisation by a fixed date.
Tell the academy before enrolling if an Ijazah is the goal. It should confirm whether a suitable pathway is currently available, which named teacher is authorised to grant it, the recitation or memorisation requirements and how the chain of transmission is documented. Ordinary Hifz lessons should not be described as an Ijazah pathway without that evidence.
Learners can request several suitable times around school, work and family commitments. The academy confirms lesson frequency and the final timetable after checking a suitable teacher's availability. A preferred morning, evening, weekend or daily schedule is not guaranteed.
Online Hifz can support a child when the teacher can hear recitation clearly, correct pronunciation, set a manageable portion and check both new and older material. Readiness, accurate reading, revision between lessons and suitable parent support matter more than a universal starting age or promised completion time.
